At Emirates Flight Catering, Finance Department plays a key role in financial management and planning in line with the Company's strategy & objectives and the department is managed by a team of professionals who amongst themselves can proudly deliver around 150 years of finance experience.
The department maintains the company's financials and accounts in a highly computerized and efficient environment, and conducts regular review of Business Performance and Key Performance Indicators to enable the company to deliver the set financial targets. It also carries out analytical study and investment options to maximize the cash flow and stakeholders' value. Further, the department ensures that adequate insurance cover for the assets and risks associated with the business are maintained.
Credit facility is extended to local and international customers in line with market trends with a view to maintain customer partnership, and the department ensures that the credit terms extended by our suppliers are in line with market conditions.

The monthly profit & loss accounts are prepared in addition to annual budgets and periodical forecasts and the same is shared with operations and management to evaluate the performance against budgets and forecasts.
Annual accounts are prepared every year in December and are submitted to the Board of Directors. The Accounts are prepared in accordance with International Accounting Standards and are audited by the leading Auditors Ernst & Young.
The company maintains excellent banking relationship and arrangements with various leading local and international banks.
