PHASE 1

Emirates Flight Catering Company will be operating the transit / delayed restaurant and the VIP and CIP lounges in addition to the airline catering operation at JXB Airport which is expected to start by Mid of 2009. The design work, detailed drawings along with the equipment list have been finalized and forwarded to DCA. Equipment list has been tendered and the tender results have been received and are currently being evaluated by EKFC.

The phase 1 project includes the following areas:

• Level 1 : Kitchen area - 406sqm

• Apron Level: Airline Catering Storage, Presetting / Marshalling and Dispatch areas – 625sqm

• Apron Level: 3 Catering Hi-loaders and 3 Light duty vehicle parking lots.

PHASE 2

Emirates Flight Catering Company has officially requested Dubai World Central for a 10,000 sqm land in the area close to the ramp allocated for the passenger flights. This unit once fully developed will be able to cater up to 20,000 meals.

The affection plans of the plot of land are awaited from Dubai World Central Senior Management in order to start working on the design of this new unit.

PHASE 3

Emirates Flight Catering Company has also officially requested Dubai World Central for a 100,000 sq metre plot of land at the catering west and which should have an adjacent location to the EK terminal to set up a fully fledged facility, capable of providing inflight services to EK and other airline clients once they relocate from the existing Dubai International Airport to Dubai World Central International Airport.
